I serve as a pre-health advisor and am a member of the advising assessment committee in the Academic Advising Center. I also teach courses in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience.

Shane Goodridge

As an Academic Dean, I support students who live or did live in the Bell Tower House. I am the administrative liaison for German; International Comparative Studies; Slavic & Eurasian Studies; Education; and the Health, Wellness & Physical Education program. I am a member of the College Courses Committee, and oversee Trinity's Signature Course program, the University Course, and House Courses. I am a member of the Online Assessment Committee, and I chair the Transfer Course Coding Committee.

John Blackshear

As an Academic Dean, I support students who live or did live in Pegram House. I am the administrative liaison for Asian & Middle Eastern Studies, Medieval & Renaissance Studies, Music, and the Documentary Studies certificate program. I also serve as the University Student Ombudsman.

Sabrina Thomas

As an academic dean, I support students who live or did live in Wilson House and Jarvis House. I am the administrative liaison for economics, romance studies, sociology, the Human Development certificate, the Latin American Studies certificate, and the Philosophy, Politics & Economics certificate. I also direct the Office of Student Returns and Duke's domestic exchange programs with Howard University and Spelman College. I oversee the First Year Seminars program, and serve as a member on the Global Education Committee.

Milton Blackmon

As an academic dean, I support students who live or lived in Randolph House. I am the administrative liaison for the following majors and certificates: African & African American Studies, Religious Studies, Women's Studies, the Markets & Management Certificate, the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate, the Jewish Studies Certificate, and the ROTC programs. I am also the dean and academic advisor for visiting international students, and serve as the advisor for students interested in graduate business school.

I am the administrative liaison for computer science, mathematics, physics, statistical science, the Information Science + Information Studies certificate, and the Decision Science Certificate. I am also a member of the undergraduate Curriculum Committee.

Alyssa K. Perz

As an academic dean, I support students who live or did live in Southgate House. I am the administrative liaison for chemistry, cultural anthropology, evolutionary anthropology, Global Health, the Genome Scieinces & Policy certificate and the Latino/a Studies in the Global South certificate. I serve as an advisor to students interested in health careers, and as dean and academic advisor for women's basketball and football players. I am also the director of the Cardea Fellows Program and a lecturer in the Department of Biology.

Paula Gilbert

I serve as the academic dean for non-degree students (also known as Continuing Studies students) and all summer visiting students.  Administratively, I am the director/dean of the Duke Office of Continuing Studies and Summer Session and a volunteer advisor for the Academic Advising Center.

Gerald L. Wilson

As an academic dean, I support students who live or did live in Giles House. I am the administrative liaison for History, political science, public policy, and the Policy Journalism & Media Studies certificate. I advise students who want to pursue careers in law, and also teach two courses in history each semester.
