Duke Student Health is the primary source for healthcare services including general medical care, basic nutrition counseling, laboratory services, travel / immunization clinics, and allergy / immunotherapy clinic. Most services at the Student Health Center (SHC) are covered by the Health Fee. The SHC is located on Flowers Drive in the Duke Clinic complex (Duke South, Sub-Basement, Orange Zone). Note that students who become ill in class should be sent or taken to the Student Health Clinic. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, dial 911 for the Duke University Police and Duke Rescue Squad. Emergency transportation can be obtained through Duke Public Safety by calling 911.
