TutoringLast updated: June 10, 2013
Students in academic difficulty may approach departments for tutoring assistance. Early in each semester, DUSs will be asked to identify graduate students and unusually able undergraduates who might serve as tutors. In most cases individual students must make arrangements for tutoring, at rates set by individual tutors. Lists of available tutors should be maintained in the departmental offices and in other offices at the discretion of each DUS. There is no university-wide, accepted, hourly rate for tutoring services. Tutors in each department are encouraged to establish uniform rates, in the interest of equity to students seeking assistance.
