Non-Duke Items (Personal)
Non-Duke related items must be packed and moved by the owner. Duke is not responsible and does not provide insurance coverage for such items.
With regard to Duke-related items, the owner may choose to pack these or to have the designated mover pack them. Boxes packed by owners must follow approved guidelines. The A&S Facilities project manager will provide packing materials and coordinate packing, moving, and storage (when necessary) with the owner. Departments must provide the project manager a relocation assignment spreadsheet for all moves that exceed three offices, labs, common areas, or combination thereof. Unscheduled moves and changes in scheduled moves without notification may result in charges to the relevant department or program.
