Add a Faculty Book

If your site highlights and shows Faculty Books, you can easily add new ones that will automatically appear in the appropriate section(s). To do this:

  1. Log in to your site
  2. In the upper tool bar, select Content > Add Content > Book
  3. Fill in the information regarding the new book (Note that items with a red star are required entries)
  4. Click “Save”

To gather some of the information for the fields, you may decide to go to Amazon.com and search for the book. On Amazon, you can gather information such as Publisher, Publication Year, and Book Jacket Image.

Your Book Content type also includes a second tab at the top called “Where To Display This Content.” You can use this to put the book information on other pages. For example, if you want the book image and info to appear on the Faculty member’s page, you can simply start typing the faculty’s name in the “Faculty Reference” box, select it once it appears, then click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
