2. Editing in context.  Add a "Slideshow",  "Video", "File", "Audio" content type to a page.  Click "Choose Video", "Choose Slideshow", "Choose Audio". "Choose Button", and  "Choose File" You will go directly to the media library where you may select existing media or add new media.  Once media has been selected, you will be returned to the page you are editing and the item will be added to that page.

Adding Video

The media library does not host video.  You will need to find a hosting solution for video such as YouTube or Vimeo.

1. Adding YouTube, Vimeo, or Viddler Videos: You can search these services directly within the media library by clicking the "Search Services" at the top.  Select the video service and search by keyword.  Your selection automatically fills in the input fields in the new media form.  Edit these fields as desired, and add tags.  Click save.

2. Adding a Video via Embed Code: You can add video from other hosting solutions that supply an embed code.  Click the "Add by Embed Code" button in the Add Video section. You will need to open a separate browser window and go to the video hosting site to get the embed code.

Example embed code: <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="437" height="291" ...</object>

You will also need to take a screen capture for a thumbnail for the video.  Until you have uploaded the thumbnail you will not be able to save the video entry to the media gallery.

Please note: currently Duke ITunes is not importable into the media gallery.

Adding Audio

The media gallery can host audio files such as MP3 files up to 8MB in size. Adding these types of files to your media gallery is similar to adding images or documents. Go to the media library:
